This class introduces the fundamentals of meditation and Qi Gong at a beginner's level. The techniques will also serve to deepen the practices of more experienced mindfulness students. This class introduces the fundamentals of meditation and Qi Gong at a beginner's level. The techniques will also serve to deepen the practices of more experienced mindfulness students. The class will focus on seated meditation and counterbalanced by the moving meditation of Qi Gong. The principles of this class can be practiced while sitting , standing, laying down, or moving throughout our daily lives. "Movement and Stillness" will give the student a grab bag of mindfulness techniques to take home and enjoy while also providing a space in which to recharge and center themselves at this weekly one hour class.

Attendees of this class should bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes.

(Veterans Affairs credentialed) Lisa, owner of MassageCraft, received diplomas in clinical studies and research from the College d’Etudes Osteopathiques in Montreal in 2016. In 2001 she earned her master’s degree in acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. Her 30 plus year career in bodywork began in 1991 when she completed diplomas in both Shiatsu and therapeutic massage at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.

Lisa blends acupuncture and manual therapies to help you resolve musculoskeletal pain; manage systemic conditions and stress; and recover your vitality. Sessions include postural, occupational, and lifestyle suggestions to sustain the benefits of treatment.

Keri-ann has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. She has spent most of her massage career working in chiropractic settings. Her specialty is deep tissue, injury specific work. Her skill and experience have now found a home here at MassageCraft . Her work is a perfect complement to acupuncture. Keri-ann has also spent many years working as an endoscopy technician. Her experience in the medical field and her expertise as a massage therapist make her an excellent addition to our team.

Katherine (Katie) is a licensed acupuncturist, and nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, which includes both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She completed her Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences with double minors in Biology and Integrative & Holistic Health from the University of Southern Maine.
